A SIX SENTENCE LIFE

1. Born in a foundling hospital.

2. Raised in foster homes in Detroit and then in the Berkshire Mountains in Massachusetts and then in suburban Schenectady-Saratoga Springs.

3. Went to five colleges, have two degrees and have visited 61 of the world's 200 countries  

4. Had 18 jobs in 13 states, for most of which I had minimal qualifications.

5. Married for 16 years, then single then partnered - recently widowered, and am building a new life in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.

6. Have written since I was 11, pumped out two awful and unreadable books, published two marginal short stories and deeply wonder if I type more than write.
